Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of lines to an exchange and to constitute an economical system by concentrating and multiplexing signals from the plural subscriber side terminal equipments of a digital overall service network (ISDN) and feeding to the exchange. CONSTITUTION:The signals from the subscriber side terminal equipments 1, 2, 3, 4,... when one subscriber terminal is stored in the subscriber line to the frame of communication information by the code converting and adding means 21 of a packet concentrating and multiplexing device 20, are inserted into a concentration identifier indicating a subscriber number in place of a terminal point identifier. When the plural subscriber terminals are stored in the subscriber line, the concentration identifier is added to the frame, thereby, the signals from the plural subscriber side terminal equipments 1, 2, 3, 4 are concentrated, multiplexed and fed to the exchange 10. Thereby, the lines to the exchange 10 can be remarkably reduced and the system can be constituted at low cost.
