Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to maintain the blood flow in a blood vessel at the time of expanding a balloon by the catheter with a conduit type balloon, to make sufficient expansion operation and to lessen the patient's risk for requiring a valvar blood vessel forming technique.
CONSTITUTION: The catheter 1 is adhered and fixed to the internal cavity surface of the conduit type balloon 2. A cavity 8 is made in the center of the balloon when the balloon is expanded so that the blood flow is maintained even when the wall 7 of the blood vessel is expanded and compressed.
