Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a backup power supply circuit for executing the memory holding operation of a memory circuit built in a microcomputer.
CONSTITUTION: This backup power supply circuit is constituted of a backup battery 12 prepared independently of a main power supply circuit 8 for supplying operation power to the microcomputer 9, a pnp type backup transistor(TR) 14 connecting its emitter to the battery 12 and connecting its collector to a backup terminal 10, a controlling TR 15 for controlling the operation of the TR 14, and controlling diodes 19, 20.
