PURPOSE: To provide an elevator control device by which passengers waiting on a landing can be led to get on an elevator car without confusion by informing an alloted and arranged elevator car and the number of persons capable of getting on to the passengers waiting on the landing.

CONSTITUTION: An elevator car replying to a landing call is alloted by means of a landing call allotment device 1d, the number of persons already staying in the alloted elevator car is detected by a detecting device 1f for the number of persons in a car, the number of persons capable of getting on is computed by means of a computing device 1g for the number of persons capable of getting on from the detected number of persons already staying in and the maximum load capacity of the elevator car, and the alloted elevator car replying to the landing call and the number of persons capable of getting on are informed to the passengers waiting on a landing from each floor landing annunciator 1i through a getting on annunciator 1h.
