PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive vibration isolator having wide application to general use, for effectively absorbing the vibration energy caused by a refrigerant piping and the like of an air conditioner.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical rubber weight 13 is provided, which has a through hole 11 and a notch 12 reaching the through hole 11, and which is principally composed of rubber. A piping is provided on the through hole 1. Two rubber weights 13 are connected together by a connection means 15. Namely, the two rubber weights 13 are fixed by a fixing member 20 having jaws to be hooked on both of the upper and lower surfaces of the rubber weight 13 as well as right and left jaws to be hooked on the notch 12 of each rubber weight 13. A binding band 21 made of resin is wound around the outer periphery of the rubber weights including the fixing member 20, and is fastened, to form them into an integrated structure.
