PURPOSE: To improve surface smoothness, to obtain high gloss and to enhance adhesive properties between each layer by irradiating at least one layer in the laminate of two layers in a resin coated layer with electron rays in an atmosphere having specific oxygen concentration and curing the layer.
CONSTITUTION: The title support has a sheet-shaped base material and a resin coated layer formed onto at least one surface of the sheet-shaped base material, and the resin coated layer is composed of the laminate of at least two layers consisting of the cured substance of a resin cured by applying electron rays. At least one layer in the laminate is cured by the irradiation of electron rays in an atmosphere having oxygen concentration of 600ppm or more. That is, the surface of a drum 5 made of a metal is coated with the resin composition 3 by coaters 4a, 4b, and a curable resin layer 7 is formed in the atmosphere having high oxygen concentration by a first electron ray irradiator 6. On the other hand, a resin composition 9 for an internal layer applied onto the base material 11 by coaters 10a-10c is laminated on the curable resin layer 7, and cured by a second electron ray irradiator 14, thus manufacturing the sheet- shaped support 16.
