Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stabilize the quality of the molding powder for continuous casting of steels; for example, to stabilize the degree of dispersion, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This molding powder for continuous casting of steels is constituted by specifying the specific surface area of the molding powder for continuous casting of steels consisting of the powders or granules of a mixing type formed by mixing various kinds of raw materials or a calculation type formed by previously calcining the raw materials exclusive of carbon or a melting type formed by previously melting the raw materials to ≥95BET-m/g specific surface area and incorporating the carbon black having <8pH at 0.2 to 5wt.% therein.
