PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacture of an ink jet head which can realize high resolution by improving a flying direction of a particle and by removing divergency among nozzle lines concerning the method for manufacture of the ink jet head to be used for an ink jet printer.

CONSTITUTION: An ink jet head 1 is composed of a nozzle 2 jetting an ink drop, a conducting passage 3 transmitting pressure to the nozzle 2, a pressure chamber 7 generating pressure jetting the ink drop from the nozzle 2, an ink passage 8 for carrying ink to the pressure chamber 7, and a common ink chamber 9 supplying ink to the supply passage 8 by connecting them respectively with a multilayer plate having an assembly hole 16. The multilayer plate is formed respectively by an edging technique, and an ink jet head 1 is assembled by forcing a guide pin 21 into each assembly hole 16 of the multilayer plate. The nozzle 2 is formed to a square nozzle by etching from both surfaces of the plate.
