Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide possibility of using a spin dryer even where no water exhaust facility is provided by installing a water tank which stores the exhaust water flowing down from a exhaust water tube, which is furnished inside of the body of spin dryer, in a position downstream of the tube, and structuring the water tank so that it can be separated from the body.
CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal cage 7 to accommodate laundry to be dried and rotate, a water receptacle basin 13 to receive water exhausted from the cage 7, and a water exhaust tube 14 through which the water flows down in the basin 13 are installed in the body 1 of a spin dryer. In the downstream of this tube 14, a water tank 20 is provided to store the water flowing out of the tube 14, and is structured so that it can be separated from the body 1 of spin dryer. The water level of the exhaust water stored in the tank 20 is monitored by a level gauge 30 at all times so as to control current feed to a motor M which rotates the centrifugal cage 7. As a result, a grip 20a is drawn to open the front door 22 when the exhaust water becomes full, and the tank 20 is allowed to run on the floor 100 with the aid of caster 21 and thus pulled out of the body 1.
