CONSTITUTION: A label printer is provided with a CPU 30 and a storage section 31. Label information such as coordinate numbers, etc., displaying the size of a label and the position of the array of the label, a character size table, etc., are stored in the storage section 31. Printing is carried out successively in the printing areas of each label by automatically set character size in the character rows input on the basis of the label information, etc., in the CPU 30. The CPU 30 executes printing in succession to labels except the specified position by assigning the coordinate number of labels corresponding to the unnecessary position of printing. Accordingly, printing processing can be carried out selectively to the labels located at desired positions.
