Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a steady rotation torque by bringing the inside face of a synthetic resin rotary bezel into contact with the rim outside face of a timepiece case and by locking a projection provided on the inside face of the rotary bezel with a groove provided in the rim periphery.
CONSTITUTION: The inside face of a synthetic resin rotary bezel 5 is brought into contact with the rim outside face 4 of a timepiece case 1 to lock a projection 6 provided on the inside face 7 of the rotary bezel 5 with a groove 3 provided in the outer periphery of a rim 2. The inside face 7 has a fastening margin in the rim outside face 4 and in the radius direction to make a torque necessary to rotate the rotary bezel 5. The rotary bezel 5 is provided with a groove 8 which partitions the inner periphery 10 and the outer periphery 11. The groove 8 provided in the rotary bezel 5 makes the inner periphery 10 of the rotary bezel 5 easy to deflect outward. Therefore, even when the fastening margin of the inside face 7 and the rim outside face 4 of the rotary bezel 5 after locking is not uniform over the whole periphery because of dimensional dispersion and the like, the inside face 7 and the rim outside face 4 develop a constant pressure, so that a steady rotation torque can be obtained.
