Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the title catalyst for an epoxy resin obtained by catalytically reacting org. phosphine, org. arsine and a specific inorg. acid (mixture) and suitable for curing a composite material, paint, a casting resin, a molded article and seal resin and improving storage stability.

CONSTITUTION: The objective catalyst is composed of an adduct, a complex or a compd. obtained by catalytically reacting org. phosphine or org. arsins (i) and an inorg. acid (mixture) having a weak nucleophilic anion (ii) (A) or by catalytically reacting one kind of an adduct of an acid having a relatively strong nucleophilic anion and org. phosphine or org. arsine (iii) and an inorg. acid (mixture) (metal salt) having a weakly nucleophilic anion (iV) (B).
