Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an alloy having high corrosion resistance and an alloy having steam oxidation resistance in a high temp. combustion environment in which V2O5, Na2SO4, NaCl, etc., are present and a multiple layered steel tube constituted of the relevant alloy.

CONSTITUTION: The alloy consisting of, by weight, ≤0.05% C, 0.02 to 0.5% Si, 0.02 to 0.5% Mn, 15 to 35% Cr, 0.5 to 4% Mo, >40 to 60% Co, 5 to 15% Fe, 0.5 to 5% W, 0.0003 to 0.005% Ca and the balance Ni with 4% lower limit with inevitable impurities and satisfying ≥30(%) Cr(%)+0.5Ni(%)+3Mo(%) and having corrosion resistance in a combustion environment in which V, Na, S and Cl are present is prepd.
