PURPOSE: To relatively inexpensively enhance gasoline impermeability by forming a product main body from a nitrile rubber/polyvinyl chloride polyblend and arranging a thin polyvinyl chloride layer to the product main body at the arbitrary position of the cross section thereof to weld the same to the rubber layer of the product main body.
CONSTITUTION: In a gasoline impermeable rubber product, for example, a fuel hose, the product main body is formed from a nitrile (NBR)/polyvinyl chloride(PVC) polyblend. A thin polyvinyl chloride(PVC) layer is arranged to the entire surface of the gasoline permeable surface of the product main body 1 at the arbitrary position of the cross section of said main body 1 and welded to the rubber layer of the product main body 1. At this time, for example, the blend ratio of NBR/PVC is set to 30/70-80/20. Further, as PVC, for example, a plasticizing type of a general-purpose straight polymer with a polymer mean polymerization degree of 750-2100 is used. By this constitution, gasoline impermeability is enhanced without using fluororubber.
