Abstract:
PURPOSE:To get rid of distortion of a reproductive waveform of a signal recorded on a pigment system optical disk having a high reflectivity reflection layer by a method wherein a recording layer having at least one kind of a compound having a specified composition is borne on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer is placed on a substrate and a light reflecting layer is installed further thereon. The recording layer contains at least one kind of a compound as given by the formula I. In the formula I, R1 represents alkyl group, the number of C atoms is preferably 1-8 and further the R may be replaced by other substituents. X represents an anion such as anions being conjugated bases of perchloric acid, hexafluorophosphoric acid, paratoluene sulfonic acid, etc., and complex anions of bis (benzene-1,2-dithiolato nickelate), etc. Thereby, distortion of a waveform is decreased.
