Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform highly accurate measurement by operating the distances between flange edges and web surface based on the four sets of positions of two sets of flanges and the upper parts of the web and the inclination of the web, which is obtained from two positions of remaining two sets of flanges and web.
CONSTITUTION: The positions of nu1, mu1, nb1 and mb1 of an H beam in running are measured at the same time with upper position measuring device for flanges and the web. Furthermore, the positions of nu2, mu2, nb2 and mb2 are measured at the same time with lower position measuring devices. The deflecting amount of the web is computed by using a specified expression. Vertical vibration is generated in the H beam in running, and torsion is also generated. In order to decrease the errors in measurements, a point A1 and a point b1 are measured with one flange-web- deflection measuring device. At this time, an inclination θ with respect to the horizontal line of the web is obtained based on the measured value at a point bx obtained from another device at the same time. Thus, ΔL1 and ΔL2 are corrected. Since the differences in shapes of the flanges and the flanges at the right and left sides of the web are considered, the measurement having the high size accuracy can be performed.
