Title:
KNITTING OF KNITTED FABRIC FORMING THREE-DIMENSIONAL SURFACE PATTERN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3046596
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making knitting method capable of exhibiting a three-dimensional pattern (unevenness) such as undulation, swelling, or the like, on the surface of knitted fabric by using hard twist yarn by a simple method.
SOLUTION: Plural knitted fabrics 1 are collectively knitted by using a hard twisted yarn, the piled knitted fabrics 1 are connected by tucks 2 at fixed intervals of one or more needles, or yarns of the knitted fabrics 1 piled at the fixed intervals of one or more needles are crossed and linked. Consequently, knitted fabrics 1A between the tucks 2 or crossed parts 3 are made into a swollen state by the force of the hard twisted yarn to create a three-dimensional surface pattern.
