PURPOSE: To perform absorption of an impact during closing of an open closing member in an opening closing device whichever it may be, a motor-operated type or a manual operation type, to simply apply the opening closing device to an existing opening and closing device, and to eliminate a need for exchange of a part even when the device is used for a long period.

CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic type damper device 20 is arranged to a release end part 4a of a shutter curtain 4 and when the shutter curtain 4 is closed, before the release end part 4a makes contact with the under surface of an opening part 2, the moving speed of the shutter curtain 4 is decreased by means of a damper device 20. As a result, the generation of impact noise when the shutter curtain 4 is closed is not only suppressed but also there is hardly any consumable part of the damper device 20, whereby maintenance is simplified and the device is simply applicable to an existing shutter device.
