PURPOSE: To obtain an electrophotographic copying device consisting of plural units, by which the jam processing of printing paper is facilitated and the exchange of the element of electrophotographic copying process such as an electrophotographic photosensitive body, a developing device, an electrostatic charger and a cleaner is facilitated.

CONSTITUTION: A middle frame 24 removably supporting a photosensitive body 15 and an electrostatic cleaning unit 23 is provided and shafts 24a and 24b are provided on the frame 24. The shafts 24a and 24b are guided by guide grooves 39a and 39b formed on the upper cover 39 of an upper unit. When the frame 24 is slid along the grooves 39a and 39b under a state that the upper unit is opened, the body 15 and the unit 23 are separated from the other units.
