Abstract:
PURPOSE: To share musical sound control data, which is not completely uniform among different kinds of devices, among these devices.
CONSTITUTION: A CPU 1 controls the whole of a device in accordance with a prescribed program stored in a ROM 2. A RAM 3 is provided with a timbre number conversion table. An operation panel 5 is provided with a switch group for setting of performance parameters. A disk device 6 writes and reads performance parameters or the like in and from a disk. The timbre number indicating the timer of musical sounds out of read performance parameters is converted to that provided in the device by the N timbre number conversion table. A sound source 7 generates a musical sound signal in accordance with performance information and converted musical sound control data.
