Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic disk on which an unerased area does not exist at the top end part of an ID field in a sector format and a loss on the sector format is small. CONSTITUTION:A controller is provided with a function as a means to write in the ID field so that the sector format may be arranged in the order of the ID field 2 for identifying the address of the sector 1, a servo field 4 for detecting the position of a magnetic head, and a data field 3 for storing data.
