Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable welding assembly of plural car kinds of car bodies with the same apparatus by holding a material to be welded between a welding robot having electrodes movable upward and plural changeable back electrodes corresponding to welding positions and conducting electric current to both electrodes. CONSTITUTION:At the time of assembling a floor main in the car body, the two arm type welding robot 10 providing two arms A1, A2 having electrode tips 17, 18 at tip part above the steel strip W, etc., group 30 of the plural back electrode tips 32, which is different at each car kind assembled with the welding, at lower part, a change-over device 35 thereof and a Y-axis direction shifting device 40 are set. In the case of executing plural kinds of spot weldings, the back electrode group 30 corresponding to this, is set as possible to advance/ retreat to the material W to be welded and the electrode tips 17, 18 in two arms A1, A2 of the robot body 11 are shifted to both directions of X-axis and Z-axis of the position of the material W corresponding to the electrode tips 32 in the back electrode group 30 W and the current from an electric power source 12 is conducted to plural welding positions in the material W and the spot weldings are quickly and accurately executed.
