Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC EMULSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0545769
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a silver halide photographic emulsion having high sensitivity by sensitization with a tellurium sensitizer and a selenium sensitizer.
CONSTITUTION: Sensitization is carried out with a tellurium sensitizer and a selenium sensitizer. When each of the sensitizers is added, it is previously dissolved in water or an org. solvent miscible with water, e.g. alcohols, esters or amides. The amt. of each of the sensitizers used depends on silver halide particles used and conditions in chemical aging but is preferably 10-8-10-2 mol per 1mol silver halide. The selenium sensitizer may be added before or after adding the tellurium sensitizer if both the sensitizers coexist for a time.
