PURPOSE: To provide a disposable diaper presenting fine appearance even after being interiorly packed and establish a method for manufacturing such a diaper with which the processing easiness for the interior pack is enhanced.
CONSTITUTION: A disposal diaper comprises a front surface sheet 2 with liquid transmissivity, a rear sheet 3 with no liquid transmissivity, and an absorbent interposed between them. In the central part in longitudinal direction of a disper spread 1b in which a recess for leg opening 12 is formed on each side about the central part, the belly side part 22 and the back side part 20 are overlapped and folded so that the edge 17a of the part 22 is positioned identical to the edge 18a of the part 20, and the end side edge 17b and end side edge 18b are folded outward and overlapped in the middle between the first folding 15 and the mentioned edge 17a and in the middle between the folding and the edge 18a, and the end side edge 17b and the end side edge 18b of the back side part 20 are sealed together.
