PURPOSE: To provide an electric cooking tool wherein a substance to be cooked is more uniformly heated and generation of fluctuation of the finishing can be suppressed.
CONSTITUTION: An electric cooking tool is provided with a bottomed cylindrical pot 5 with an upper face opening, a lid 8 for covering the upper face opening of this pot 5 and connected heat-transferably with this pot 5 and a heating body 6 for heating the pot 5. In addition, the pot 5 and the lid 8 are constituted of a member with a high thermal conductivity and a projection 11 projecting downward is integrally formed on the central part of the lid 8 and the projection 11 is formed in such a way that when the pot 5 is covered with the lid 8, the lower end of the projection 11 is positioned below the specified water level S of the pot.
