PURPOSE: To surely and quickly detect end breakage by a simple constitution in a ring fine spinning machine in which each spindle is independently driven by a motor attached to each spindle.
CONSTITUTION: Each spindle 1 of a spinning machine is equipped with a motor 2 for driving a spindle. The motor 2 for driving a spindle is connected through electric supply lines 5 to electric source lines 4 coupled to an electric source 3. An arbitrary one electric supply line of the three electric supply lines 5 of each spindle is provided with an electric current sensor 6 for measuring an electric current fed to the motor 2 for driving each spindle. The electric current sensor 6 is communicated with a judging circuit 7 as a discriminating means. The judging circuit 7 is equipped with a diffential circuit 8 for obtaining a rate of change of electric current supplied to the motor 2 for driving a spindle based on an output signal from the electric current sensor 6 and with a comparative circuit 9 for comparing output of the differential circuit 8 with a given set value.
