PURPOSE: To provide an image forming material of high quality with which a transferred material almost same as a printed material can be obtd. as a surprint prepress proof for color proof.

CONSTITUTION: This image forming material consists of a supporting film (A), metal oxide thin film layer (B) on the one or both surfaces of the supporting film, photosensitive layer (C) containing a dye or pigment on the one surface of the laminated body, and further protective film (D) on the photosensitive layer. Since this image forming material has excellent dimensional stability against heat and environment, a transferred material in register and of almost equal quality to a printed material can be obtd. even by a four-process (magenta, yellow, cyan, black) transfer method.
