PURPOSE: To permit ordinary hot-water supplying during the drop-in mode into a bathtub as well as water supplementing mode and permit a hot-water top to supply hot-water having arbitrary set temperature by a method wherein a drop-in water supplying passage, bypassing a hot water supplier and communicating a water inlet passage with a drop-in hot-water supplying passage, is provided to control drop-in hot-water temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The title bath boiler is provided with a drop-in water supplying passage 41, bypassing a hot-water supplier 1 and communicated with a drop-in hot-water supplying passage 43, a water amount regulating valve 42 provided with closing function, which is arranged in the drop-in water supplying passage, and a drop-in water supplying amount sensor 61. When the using of ordinary hot-water supplying is detected during drop-in mode or automatic water supplementing mode, a drop-in solenoid valve 44 in the drop-in hot-water supplying passage is closed and the gas amount proportional control valve 29 of a both boiler 2 is controlled based on the valve travel of the water amount regulating valve provided with closing function, the drop-in water supplying amount and a circulating inlet water temperature for a bath heat exchanger 22 after closing a drop-in solenoid valve 44 in the drop-in hot-water supplying passage whereby the feedforward control of the amount of combustion is effected and hot water at a bath set temperature is supplied to a given water level in a bathtub. Accordingly, ordinary hot water supply can be effected during the drop-in water supplementing mode.
