PURPOSE: To improve the looking of coupling part between a side block and a roof block, in a rolling stock.
CONSTITUTION: Coupling between a side block 200 and a roof block 400 is effected in the position of a trough 415. A longitudinal beam 201 of the side block 200 is brought into contact with the back of an outer plate 410 of which the trough 415 is composed. The side block 200 to which an interior member, such as an interior panel 230, is attached, and the roof block 400 to which an interior member, such as an interior panel 420, is attached are intercoupled at a trough 415 part by a weld. A weld method carried out only from the outside is used for a coupling means. On the indoor side, the longitudinal beam 201 fixed to the side block 200 and a coupling 201 are coupled to a lateral beam 402 of the roof block 400 by means of a rivet 500. Thereafter, an interior panel 510 is mounted. Since it is coupled to a trough 415 part, coupling is easily practicable from the outside with nice looking.
