PURPOSE: To facilitate the takeout of an inner pot from an outer pot of a rice cooker.

CONSTITUTION: This takeout device 11 has a mating part 15 bent in L which is formed on both sides in the direction of the surface of a holding plate 12 positioned above an inner pot 8 to be inserted into a gap between a side flange part 8a at the upper end of the inner pot 8 and an outer surrounding wall 7b on the upper end side of an outer pot 7 while a handle 13 is fixed on the top surface of the holding plate 12.
