PURPOSE: To obtain a method and a machine for crimping terminal with a high reliability, of which crimping accuracy is excellent and which can correspond to different kinds of terminals, in related to a method for crimping terminal for connecting a terminal to a conductor, which is to be used for wire harness to be used for an electric circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A fastening anvil 11, a shear blade 12, which is arranged opposite to the fastening anvil 11 and which can be elevated freely, and an outer shear blade 13 are provided on a base board 10. Under the condition that a terminal carrier 3, to which a terminal 2 is connected like a chain, is pinched between the shear blade 12 and a terminal holding plate 16 provided in the shear blade 12, the terminal 2 and a conductor are fastened to be welded together on the fastening anvil 11.
