Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stabilize the ratio (magnification) of output variation to inputted displacement by connecting in parallel a plurality of levers or lever groups having the same magnification so that not only their points of force but also points of application can coincide with each other.
CONSTITUTION: The title transducer 1 is constituted by forming lever groups 2-5 which output displacement inputted from input sections 6 from output sections 7 after reducing and transducing the displacement on one metal plate. The group 2 is composed of a lever 11 having a point of force 8, fulcrum 9, and point of application 10 and levers 15, 19, and 23 having similar constitutions. The displacement is inputted by substantially making the point 8 of the lever 11 coincident with the part of the section 6 and the transduced amount is outputted to the point of force 12 of the lever 15 from the point 10 of the lever 11. The levers 11, 15, 19, and 23 are connected to each other so that the point of force of a preceding lever can coincide with the point of application of the succeeding lever. When, for example, the reduction factor of the four levers are set at l/10, the output from the section 7 becomes 1/10,000 and a stable magnification can be obtained, because the error is averaged irrespective of the inputted displacement and machining accuracy. The same can be said to the other lever groups 3-5.
