Title:
HEAT EXCHANGER AND REFRIGERANT RESUPPLYING METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3050827
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of sealing a large quantity of a refrigerant therein even when power supply is interrupted and even in the case where an ambient temperature is at a predetermined level or below at which pump-down can not be performed, and reduce a quantity of the refrigerant to be resupplied in the case where the heat exchanger is displaced.
SOLUTION: Each of on-off valves 12 to 15, to which refrigerant pipes 11 for connection are connected, are provided at each end of a refrigerant pipe 2 on the side of an indoor unit 1 and of a refrigerant pipe 4 on the side of an outdoor unit 3. When an air conditioner is moved, the on-off valves 12 to 15 are closed to seal a refrigerant into the refrigerant pipes 2, 4, and the refrigerant pipes 11 are removed. After moving the air conditioner, the refrigerant pipes 11 are connected, and the on-off valves 12 to 15 are opened. Then, a shortage of the refrigerant is replenished by a refrigerant supplying means 16 through the on-off valves 12, 15 which are three-port connection valves.
