Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an org. functional thin film useful as various functional materials such as a nonlinear optical material and an org. semiconductor material. CONSTITUTION:Plural kinds of molecules to be joined by a double or triple bond are chained to obtain a polymer which has a part with the conjugate length of the continuous electrons controlled to >=10Angstrom . Alternatively, plural kinds of molecules to be joined by a double or triple bond are chained to obtain a polymer with a part of the conjugation system between the molecular units to be joined broken by a single bond. These polymers can be provided with a donor or acceptor property at least a part of the molecular unit.
