PURPOSE: To reduce the consumption of electric power in an automatic water supply device, to lengthen the life of a battery, and to lessen the frequency of exchanging the battery
CONSTITUTION: All automatic water supply device is provided with a control section to send opening and closing signals to a water supply section 3 on the input of a sensing signal issued from a human body sensing device composed of an optical sensor having light projecting and receiving elements and the water supply section 3 to open and to close a valve on the input of opening and closing signals issued from the control section 4. The power source is a battery 5. Electric power consumption is reduced by controlling the device so as to stop projecting light from the light projecting element in the state of the opened valve.
