Title:
METHOD FOR TREATING NITROGEN DEFICIENT ORGANIC WASTE WATER, PRODUCTION OF COPOLYESTER FROM SAID WASTE WATER AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2514131
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simultaneously perform the treatment of nitrogen deficient org. waste water not requiring the addition of a nitrogen source from the outside and the efficient production of useful copolyester.
CONSTITUTION: In the biological treatment of nitrogen deficient org. waste water, at first, waste water 20 is guided to an acid fermentation tank 2 and the org. matter in the waste water is decomposed to lower carboxylic acid and the treated waste water is guided to an NH4-N diffusion tank 5 to volatilize and remove NH4-N and subsequently introduced into a nitrogen fixing bacteria culture tank 8 to be treated. Since copolyester 16 is accumulated in the cells of the nitrogen fixing bacteria by the treatment in the tank 8, said polyester is separated and purified.
