Title:
RADIO TRANSMISSION LINE IMAGE DESCRIBING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3048530
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm the presence or absence of an obstruction between relay points by radio.
SOLUTION: Electronic map information 26 is displayed on an image plane S. Transmit-receive stations are assigned on a map. A straight line is described between the transmit-receive stations. Simultaneously with image description between the transmit-receive stations, the respective height of transmit-receive points (altitude including the height of buildings) are obtained on the basis of geographic information (altitude and building height information) included in the electronic map information. With the height as an axis of ordinate (vertical axis) and with the distance between the transmit-receive stations as an axis of abscissa (horizontal axis), a radio transmission path is displayed by a straight line (elevation angle display line) Lb on a profile describing window Sb. A line including the height of the buildings on the radio transmission path is displayed at the same time. When a height display line Ha intersects the elevation angle display line Lb, a transmission obstruction exists on the radio transmission path. The radio transmission path without an obstruction can be confirmed by simulation before reaching a relay site, and a relay vehicle can be moved to a previously simulated optimum relay spot immediately upon reaching the site.
