Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a hot water storage tank which can be carried to any place of the installation, whereby an unexpected accident such as a fire caused by welding is prevented and the inspection cost is reduced. CONSTITUTION:In a closed type hot water storage tank 1, the tank body 2 is divided lengthwise into a suitable number of sections for shipment and such sections are so constructed as to be connected and assembled together into the tank body 2 in a sealing manner at the place of the installation by assembling and connecting means (flange) 4 such as bolt. In this way each section can be easily carried to the place of installation and, at the factory, the sections are assembled together into the tank and the tank is inspected and disassembled back into the sections which are then carried to the place of installation for the tank reassembly, thereby avoiding the need for the tank inspection and a dangerous and large-scale operation such as welding at the place of the installation.
