Abstract:
PURPOSE:To constitute a compact measuring apparatus which has the small size in the direction of the height and can be mounted on the roof of a business rolling stock and to make it possible to measure abrasion economically and highly accurately. CONSTITUTION:The parallel light rays from a laser light source 1, which is the compact and high-output-power diode YAG laser, are made to be the intermittent light rays with an optical chopper 2. The light rays are converged, and a virtual light source S is obtained. The light beam from the virtual light source S is cast into a rotary mirror 10 and made to be the scanning luminous flux polygon. The scanning luminous flux is made to pass a long focal-length optical system and made to scan a sliding surface 14a of a trolley wire 14. At this time, the rotation of the rotary polygon mirror 10 is synchronized with the intermittent light rays. The light among the reflected lights caused by the scanning light at the sliding surface 14a is made to advance in the reverse direction in the long focal-length optical system and deflected around the central part of an optical beam splitter 8. The light is detected through a filter 15.
