PURPOSE: To improve the fire resistance of a window by filling a part between a shape frame material holding fireproof window glass and glass with a fiber material basing heat resistant metal having prescribed porosity, elasticity and heat conductivity, and fixing it by a closed piece having a tongue-like body.
CONSTITUTION: Fireproof window glass 1 is held through a seal material 5 by a shape frame material 2, and a part between the shape frame material 2 and the glass 1 is filled with a metal fiber material 6. The fiber material is formed from shaving-like fiber basing stailess steel or copper having the porosity of 50% or more, the young modulus of 150,000 MPa and the heat conductivity of 15 Watt.m-1.° C-1 or more. Next, the fiber material 6 is compressed by a closed piece having a tongue-like body 10 to be fixed by a screw 11. Thereby the heat resistance of the window can be improved.
