Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a common terminal for large and small current used commonly for quick charging for an electric car, charging at home, etc., and a charging connector using the terminal.
CONSTITUTION: A common terminal for large and small current 1 has a small dia. male terminal part at the tip of a large dia. male terminal part 2, and a wire connection part is provided at its end in a continuous manner through a stopper of a ring shape. The terminal 1 is locked through the engagement of a flexible locking arm 12 with the stopper in a reception connector housing 9 mounted on a car or the like, and composes a reception connector 8 for large and small current. The connector 7 and a feeding connector for large current equipped with a female terminal for large current 15 composes a charging connector. With such constitution, the reception connector for large and small current having a common terminal can be used without charging parts at the time of either of quick charging and charging at home.
