PURPOSE: To easily assemble the rotary magnetic head drum.

CONSTITUTION: A rotary head 200 is attached to a rotary drum 10 and a fixing member 100 is engaged with a rotary shaft 30 for supporting the rotary drum 10. The fixing member 100 is provided with a barrel 100a and a flange 100b integrally, a coaxial rotary transformer 90 is attached to the periphery of the barrel 100a, a slip ring 50 in engaged with and held on an upper tip opening, the rotary shaft 30 is inserted into the lower tip opening of the barrel and then, a position is decided. The coaxial rotary transformer 90 is a signal transmission route between an outside signal and the magnetic head 200, the slip ring 50 is a transmission line for supplying power and current through a brush 65 and the rotary transformer 90 is a signal transmission route leading to the magnetic head 200.
