Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a optical recording which can be recorded or regenerated by a short wavelength of about 630nm or by two different wavelengths i.e., a short wavelength and a conventional wavelength.
SOLUTION: This photorecording medium has a recording layer containing a subphthalocyanine boron complex as a color shown by formula. In the formula, R1-R12 are hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group, alkylthio group, aryloxy group or arylthio group and adjacent ones of these may be bound together to form a condensed ring, X is halogen atom, hydroxy group, alkoxy group, phenoxy group or phenyl group.
