Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove troubles at an early stage and improve reliability by comparing the latest routing table and a routing table which is stored before it with each other, judging that a trouble has occurred when a difference of information is found, and disconnecting the corresponding fabric. SOLUTION: Fabrics 10 are cascaded by a fiber channel 16 to constitute a fabric device. The respective fabrics 10 inform a maintenance management means 20 of the contents of the routing table 12 at intervals of time set in a timer 13. The maintenance management means 20 performs generation control over the routine tables 22 of all systems. At each time that the timer 23 is set to, a comparing means 24 compares the latest routing table and the routing table which is stored before it. If a difference of information is found, a system reporting means 25 disconnects the corresponding fabric from the constitution through a system managing means 31 built in a computer 30.
