Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly prevent extraction of a coupling by furniching an end circular ring for diametrical expansion and pressurization to expand a diameter and pressurize by inserting it in the inside of an outside rubber ring body of a flexible water stop coupler for a manhole, expanding the diameter by an instrument for diametrical expansion, pushing the outside rubber ring body on a side surface hole of the manhole and pressure weling it.
SOLUTION: Firstly, an outside rubber ring body 3a of a flexible water stop coupler 3 is inserted into a side surface hole 2 in case of connecting a flowing water pipe 6 to the side surface hole 2 of a manhole 1 through the flexible water stop coupler 3. Thereafter, an inside rubber cylinder part 3c is put in the manhole 1, and an end circular ring 4 is inserted in the inside of this ring 4. Thereafter, an instrument for diametrical expansion is inserted in the inside of this ring 4, the ring 4 is expanded in diameter by its work, outside both ends of an insertion part 4b are made contact with a receiving part 4c, and the outside rubber ring body 3a is made pressure contact with the side surface hole 2. Thereafter, after taking out the instrument for diametrical expansion, the inside rubber cylinder part 3c is reversely drawn out of the manhole 1, fit on the flowing water pipe 6 and fixed by a band 7.
