Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a combustion control method of a heating furnace and an apparatus therefor capable of arbitrarily controlling an in-furnace temperature pattern distributed longitudinally in the furnace.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a heating furnace 1 wherein the furnace is partitioned into a plurality of zones 2a-2d, and there are provided one or more of heat storage type alternate combustion burner systems in the respective zones 2a-2d each system serving to supply combustion air to burners 7a-7d through a heat storage member and exhaust combustion gas from the burners 7a-7b. Longitudinal temperature in the heating furnace l is detected by one or more of temperature detection means 16a-16d, 17a-17d provided in the respective zones 2a-2d. On the basis of a detection result, combustion of the heat storage type alternate combustion burner system in a corresponding zone is controlled and a longitudinal furnace temperature pattern in the heating furnace is controlled to a desired value.
