Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily guide and register commodities which have strong tendency to be sold together, to speed up the promotion and the registration of sales and to register the commodity concerned only when a customer desires the commodity displayed as a registration candidate commodity.
CONSTITUTION: Commodity names, the number of commodities and link information of the commodity corresponding to the other PLU number having the strong tendency to be sold together are stored in RAM 14 of ECR for the respective PLU numbers. When the PLU number is inputted from an input part 11, the number of the commodities, which is stored in accordance with the PLU number is updated, and the commodity name of the other PLU number is read out and displayed based on link information stored in accordance with the inputted PLU number. When a YES key is operated in such a state, the number of the commodities, which corresponds to the displayed PLU number, is updated.
