Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reduced cost, optical transmission reception equipment with a simple configuration for a master station in an optical radio communication system where a single transmission reception section emits and receives a plane optical beam over 360 degrees.
SOLUTION: This optical equipment is provided with a transmission reception section 101 that consists of an optical transmitter 104 sending a substantially collimated light beam and of an optical receiver 105 that is placed coaxially with the optical transmitter 104, and with a reflecting cone section 102 that is placed on an extended line of a center axis of the transmission reception section 101 and whose outer circumferential face is formed with a reflecting face, and the center axis (a) of the cone section 102 is in matching with the center axis of the transmission reception section 101 and an angle θ between a generating line (b) of the cone section 102 and the center axis (a) is substantially 45 degrees. The generating line (b) of the cone section 102 may be a straight line or a curved line.
