Abstract:
PURPOSE: To device a connector shell high in shield performance and capable of being surely held to a cable. CONSTITUTION: A connector shell consists of a crimp hardware 20 installed in the edge of a cable 10 which sheathes plural electric wires with an insulating sheath and shield covers 22, 24 which are fixed to the cable with the crimp hardware and cover the part of the electric wires exposed out of the insulating sheath of the cable. The crimp hardware 20 integrally have a cylindrical portion 20a crimped to the cable and a plate portion 20b installed to the shield cover. The shield cover has a sidewall 22c which combines the shield cover with the crimp hardware being superimposed with the plate portion of the crimp hardware.
