PURPOSE: To provide a linear motor elevator device wherein attractive force between a linear motor of a lift unit and inductors is prevented from acting on a fixed part in a lift path where the conductors are mounted.
CONSTITUTION: A linear motor 10 is provided through a supporter 15 longitudinally movable in a lift unit 3, and inductors 11 opposed to the linear motor 10 to generate attracting action are provided through a fixed plate 12 in a lift path 1. Rollers 17 pivotally supported by the supporter 15 to roll on a surface of the fixed plate 12 are provided. In this way, a space between both the linear motor 10 and the inductors 11 is maintained by the rollers 17, to support attractive force between the both by the rollers 17. Thus by eliminating the attractive force by the both acting on a fixed part in the lift path, a structure of the fixed part is simplified to save the cost of construction of the lift path.
